Evening Event Details:  Friday,  May 16th

    • 6:45 Check-In
    • 7:15 Sit-Down Dinner  
    • 8:15 pm-10:00 pm DJ & Dancing (No admittance after 8:00 pm)
    • Abbington Banquets, S002 Route 53, Glen Ellyn, 60137  
    • $80 per ticket (cash)/$85 per ticket (online with card and digital payment)
  • Students will not be permitted to leave until 9:00 pm

TICKET SALES:

  • Cash, check, and Guest Ticket sales will take place on May 1st, May 2nd, and May 5th during ALL lunch periods & Collaboration hours (4 & 6) in the cafeteria hallway 
  • Online ticket sales will be available starting on Thursday, May 1st via 5Star.  Students will receive the link via email and it will be posted here when tickets become available.  (Standard credit card transaction fees apply)  Online ticket sales will close at 11:59pm on Monday, May 5th.

TICKET INFORMATION: 

All ticket sales are FINALNo refunds- no exceptions

No ticket sales after deadlines

No ticket exchanges

No refunds for any reason

Non-EAST-Student Guest Procedure To Purchase a Ticket:

  • An EAST student may bring ONE (1) non-EAST-student guest who is approved 
  • The guest must be at least a freshman in high school and 20 years old or younger 
  • Please follow these steps to bring your non-EAST-student guest:
  • Pick up a Permission Form: They are available in the Dean’s Office and Bookstore/Activities Office.
  • The EAST student fills out the pertaining information, including their own guardian’s signature
  • The NonEAST Student guest needs to fill out their portion & it needs to be signed by the guest’s parent/guardian and high school administrator.
  • The EAST student brings the completed form AND a copy of their guest’s PHOTO ID to get approval from their dean.
  • The EAST student brings a completed form with the dean’s signature to purchase the tickets. Guest tickets must be purchased in person with cash or check.  No online or credit options are available for guest ticket payment.  Guest forms and tickets must be completed/purchased by end of day on Monday, May 5th.
  • No refunds or exchanges can be made

When purchasing a ticket, you must have the following:

  • Glenbard East Student ID
  • (If applicable) The Student Guest Permission Form with a signature from the dean AND a copy of their photo-ID

TABLE RESERVATIONS:  

  • You may reserve a dinner table to sit with your friends by filling out the table reservation form that will be sent to all Glenbard East Students who have purchased a prom ticket.  A link will be shared with all ticket purchasers on Wednesday, May 7th and the link will be turned off Friday, May 9th 
  • It will be your responsibility to fill out the form by May 9th
  • If you do not fill out the form, you will be assigned a table
  • There will be 10 students permitted to sit at each table
  • Tables will be consolidated to make 10 (if you have a party of 6, there will be four additional students added to your table)
  • Make sure you are not committing to sit at any other tables!  If we find duplicate names, your table will not be reserved!!!!!!!!!

Dinner

  • Dinner will be served family-style at each table
  • Dinner options will include:
    • Garden Salad
    • Chicken Vesuvio
    • Italian Sausage and Roasted Peppers
    • Vesuvio Potatoes
    • Garlic Green Beans
    • Pasta Marinara
    • Chocolate Mousse

Prom Song Requests

Want to request songs to hear at Prom???  Follow these steps! 

You can request up to 5 songs, if a song is not on the list, you can add it under the “Add Your Own” tab

Prom Entry Guidelines

  • All students must present their current student ID at the door and keep it in their possession at all times to show if requested
    • Non-EAST guest must have their ID that was submitted
  • Persons who are late will not be admitted to prom.  Any student denied entry to prom because they are late will NOT be issued a refund
  • All personal items will be searched upon entry and large bags and/or backpacks must be coat checked
  • DO NOT leave any items unattended at your table.  EAST HS is not responsible for lost or stolen items 

Students and guests may not leave prom until 9:00 pm.

Behavioral and Discipline:  

  • If the student loses the privilege to prom after purchase or purchases even though they aren’t allowed, NO REFUND CAN BE ISSUED.
  • Students who come to dance under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will face school consequences and may be banned from other dances for up to a year and/or risk not participating in graduation. 
  • There is to be no use of electronic cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol or drugs at the venue or on venue grounds.  All school rules and regulations are in effect and apply to Glenbard East students and their guests.
  • Appropriate dancing is expected. Students deemed to be dancing in an inappropriate or sexually explicit manner may be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
  • The Glenbard East dress code will be enforced.  Students who are denied entry due to inappropriate attire will NOT be given a refund.
  • Students must be in attendance at school on Friday, May 16th, to attend prom.
